Dr. Nikki Gonzalez, O.D., is a compassionate and experienced optometrist originally from Titusville, FL, also known as the Space Coast. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, MA.
During her time at NECO, Dr. Gonzalez gained valuable clinical experience through externships in primary eye care, ocular disease management, contact lenses, and pre- and post-operative cataract care. After graduating, she began her optometry career in Massachusetts before returning to her home state of Florida to serve patients in New Smyrna Beach.
In 2025, Dr. Gonzalez joined Coastal Vision, where she specializes in primary eye care, emergency eye visits, soft contact lens fittings, diabetic eye exams, and the management of glaucoma and macular degeneration. She is dedicated to providing personalized care to help patients maintain healthy vision and improve their quality of life.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, staying active through workouts, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and soaking up the sun at the beach.
